Synopsis / Sinopsis: For this old couple, life is meaningless. They live in Lima but they could be anywhere else. Sunlight does not reflect in their faces. They live alone. The woman is in better shape, physically and mentally. He just follows his wife. Every day, the old woman plans different ways to kill her husband and herself but different circumstances or the lack of memory sabotage their plans.
Para esta vieja pareja, la existencia ya no tiene sentido. Viven en Lima, pero podrían vivir en cualquier otra ciudad en el mundo. La luz del sol no ha vuelto a iluminar sus rostros. Y viven solos. Ella, la vieja, está en mejores condiciones físicas y mentales que él, el viejo, que se limita a seguir los planes de su mujer. Día tras día, con su viejo al lado, la vieja planea y organiza diversas maneras de matarse. Pero la falta de memoria y las circunstancias siempre terminan saboteando su último plan.

Director’s Bio / Bio del Director:Diego Vega started as an advisor for the National Television in Peru. With Albert Duran, he co-wrote El Premio and Calle en llamas, a police series. Daniel Vega has a career in advertising. He was the Executive Director of Canal Uno and Kchina Films. He currently works at La Luz. Daniel and Diego are working in their first long feature. Interior Bajo Izquierda was their first collaboration together.
Diego Vega comenzó su carrera como consultor de guiones de documentales para Televisión Nacional del Perú. Co-escribió El Premio de Alberto Durant y escribió la serie policial Calle en llamas. Daniel Vega ha desarrollado su carrera profesional en el mercado de la publicidad en Lima, como productor Ejecutivo de Canal Uno, Kchina Films, y actualmente trabaja en La Luz. Juntos están desarrollando su primer proyecto de largometraje, Octubre, tras éste su primer cortometraje en co-dirección, Interior Bajo Izquierda. |
