
Synopsis / Synopsis: This video-art exhibits social elements that imply a reflection on the daily routine, the things close to us, which are behind the lineand, at the same time, it emphasizes the poetry of the movement, the gesture, the features, the peculiar atmosphere with its original sounds, people and shadows, that recalls a kind of Dada, pixel and scratch-video-art styles, based in the documented continuity of the process of how it starts with the making of the dish and ending with the serving of it. The lei motive in this process is the Mexican workers.

Director’s Bio / Bio del Director: Pioneer of Video-art, and multimedia art in Mexico and Colombia. Born in Colombia. Former full time Professor at Mexico City’s University (UAM). With studies in visual arts, philosophy, communication, linguistics and education. Art Consultant. Currently living in N.Y., working and experimenting with new and old technologies, including digital and electronic art, multimedia performances. Work in permanent collections at some international museums. Publications in art, essays and art criticism. |
