A woman from the countryside migrates from Bolivia to Chile where she washes clothes to earn a living. She faces poverty by herself while becoming a single mother. Years later, during Pinochet`s military dictatorship her elder son is detained and becomes a political prisoner.
Una mujer del campo migra de Bolivia a Chile donde lava ropa para ganarse la vida. Se enfrenta a la pobreza sola mientras se convierte en madre soltera. Años después, durante la dictadura militar de Pinochet, su hijo mayor es detenido y se convierte en prisionero político.

CARLA VALENCIA is a director and editor from Ecuador. Her first documentary film Grandparents was released in 2010. It was nominated in the category of First Appearance Competition at the IDFA festival (Holland, 2010) . It won the Gold Criss Award to the best documentary at the 2011 Biarritz Festival, France. So far it has been in 62 festivals and won 10 awards. She is currently working in the postproduction of her new documentary project Senses.
