SYNOPSIS

Mirta Sésé Franco (grandmother) (65) and Lisnay Veliz Brito (little girl) (12) star in an audiovisual essay that seeks to explore the relationship of “self” with the “inner child”. Through a simple mantra, director Pablo Lozano presents an elderly woman and a little girl sharing the same space and time; only one of the two may in the end come out and play.

Mirta Sésé Franco (abuela) y Lisnay Véliz Brito (nieta) protagonizan un ensayo audiovisual que busca explorar la relación del “yo” con la “niña” o el “niño” interior. A través de un simple mantra cuyas letras son “lucesita de mi amor eres tú la más bonita llave de mi corazón”, el realizador Pablo Lozano nos presenta a una anciana y una niña que comparten el mismo espacio; solo una de las dos podrá al final salir a jugar.

DIRECTOR

Pablo Lozano is graduated from the EICTV of Cuba, and ESCAC of Barcelona. Head Coordinator at the Center for Innovation and Film Development of INTEC University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He has directed and produced music videos and short films in the USA, Latin America, Europe and Africa. In 2015 he founded “Monte y Culebra”, an authorial production house for audiovisual projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a special focus on iberoamerican co-productions. He is currently in the writing process of his first feature film, “The Protocol”.
