9 Annual Corto Circuito Latino Short Film Festival of New York
The 9th Corto Circuito Latino Short Film Festival was a success!
The three-day run had six full-house screenings and THANK YOU to all of you. To the filmmakers for letting us present your films. To the audience for their enthusiastic support, for expressing their opinions and taking the opportunity to watch films they wouldn't have otherwise. To the film schools: EICTV, FUC, CCC, our deepest gratitude. Counting on the participation of three of the most important Latin American film schools was an honor. To the sponsors: their support always makes our festival more appealing and, quite frankly, more fun! To our staff for bringing many solutions and few questions.

9a. edición de Corto Circuito Latino Short Film Festival finaliza con éxito rotundo.
Fueron 3 días y 6 proyecciones con lleno total. GRACIAS! A los directores por permitir que sus películas llegaran. Al público que aplaudió, opinó y lo más significativo: aceptó la oportunidad de ver historias que de otra manera no hubiese podido. A las escuelas de cine (EICTV, FUC y CCC), nuestra gratitud profunda; tener tres de las más importantes universidades de Latinoamérica fue un honor. A los patrocinadores por el apoyo que brindan cada año y que hacen que siempre el festival sea más divertido y mejor "presentado". A nuestro staff por las pocas preguntas y las muchas soluciones.

Corto Circuito was formed to showcase short films made by filmmakers from and about Latin America, Spain and the United States. The festival is unique in its mission to promote a wider and deeper understanding of the roots, life and diverse cultures of the Spanish and Portuguese speaking communities.
